Double Arch at night, Arches National Park, Utah, USA. This is a “panorama” of multiple vertical photos stitched together. These were taken with a 15mm Sigma fisheye lens, so there is some distortion I could not correct for, but the idea was to show both arches of Double Arch, as well as the Milky Way showing through the “roof”. The arch is lit with static or constant light. I used 2 Digital LED Video Lights. These are from a company called F&V and it is called the Z96 kit (96 LEDs). They are dimmable, and come with a “Warm” filter and a “Diffusion” filter both of which I used. They are made for video, but work great for this use. This is a good solution if you are alone and is more consistent than light painting. Several nights later I came back and used 4 lights to attempt more uniform lighting, which I will post later.
