I took this photo from Ponte dell’Accademia, one of only four bridges in Venice, Italy, to span the Grand Canal. The bridge links the sestiere of Dorsoduro and San Marco.
The church which can be seen from the bridge is Santa Maria della Salute. Commonly known as the Salute, it is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica located in the Dorsoduro sestiere area.
