Visiting my hometown after 3 years, I drove to one of the nearby beaches expecting to see fishermen returning with boatloads of fresh fish. That was not to be.
Fishing has been taken over by big groups with huge motorized boats, and these guys dont stand a chance to earn their livelihood.Many are trying to find alternate means of livelihood, and a few brave ones like you see here, are making a living by selling the nearby backwater sand ; being aware its illegal to do so.
There were concerns in their eyes as I clicked this, and requests not to harm them. Not revealing the location for their safety.
