Rainbow Meadows, Dalles Mountain, Oregon http://ift.tt/1itOuDr Finished up our Columbia River Gorge workshop this morning to some nice light on Rowena Crest. Clients all had a blast and some really amazing images were produced over the week. Now I am off to ONP and another workshop to lead in a few days. Some much needed rest is in order later today! This was captured before the workshop while scouting. A full rainbow developed at sunrise for only a few minutes. I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time!

Spring has definitely exploded in the eastern Columbia River Gorge and this year is shaping up to be the best in the last four. Balsamroot and lupine pretty have pretty much synchronized their bloom schedule. This was shot last weekend in the Dalles Mountain Ranch– standard comp with some pretty light over top. I hope to make it out there a handful of times in the coming weeks. Just need to have this wet spell move past! Great to meet up with a bunch of great photographers out there Looks much better on my website

A pretty standard shot from the Columbia Hills in Washington – but it was such nice light, I couldn’t resist! Sorry for the extreme delay between posts, people. Life’s been getting in the way of photography – but no longer! I’m back in the PNW, and I’ve got a few images queued up from various NW biomes. ALSO: an in-field workshop announcement to come soon! As usual, I teach my processing workflow over Skype! If you like the way my images look and would like to learn my techniques, please visit my website for more information: http://ift.tt/YdCotQ
