Taken a little while after Summer Skye that I posted a few days ago – it was getting slowly darker and the tide receding. It was doubtful for a while if the small waves were going to make it over my intended foreground, but thankfully one wave had enough energy to create the little cascade over the warm colored rocks.

The Coullin Ridge from Elgol is an undeniably famous view, but I was pleased to find a fresh take on it with this composition.

I was listening to my favorite band RUSH while processing this image – and the title of the band seemed to fit the feel of the image. Permanent Waves 🙂
