Up and headed up to the lake by 4:30 am, this shot taken about 6:00 am, with 33 degrees cold, but so worth the wait and the freezing cold. The lake was very calm, used a 6 stop ND filter to further calm the water and capture this moment of nature’s calm beauty and serenity

Assiniboine, the most stunning view in North America that I’ve yet encountered. All it took to get there was hiking 33km, getting lost, wading through flooded streams, camping on a rocky hillside, eating snow to survive, and losing a lot of blood. Can’t believe everyone’s not doing it!

As beautiful as they come. Situated in the heart of Spiti valley in the Himalayas’ is Kee monastery, which is not just a place with surreal backdrops but also the home to over 250 monks. Located at 4166m, it is over 1000 years old and has had a history of invasions. I had the opportunity to live with the monks for 8days, I distinctly remember it as one of the most pure experiences I have had.
