Taken a few weeks ago, same trip as my last MSH shot – just a bit earlier. I over sharpened this one on accident/purpose – the thumbnail on 500px looked bad.. oh well 🙂

New on 500px : Luck by DustinGent by DustinGent

On the way back from spending the weekend in the Olympics with my wife, I talked her into letting me try my luck at MSH. NOAA forecasted 22% cloud cover at sunrise – however when Mt. St. Helens was first visible from the road, there were no clouds.

An hour later, there were some clouds. Flowers are still blooming, so if you haven’t visited here yet, fear not as it will be prime within a few weeks.
