This is the famous Lockheed SR-71 “Blackbird” at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum near Washington DC. The SR-71 is the fast airplane ever built, and was able to exceed Mach-3. It could fly from London to New York in under 2 hours. For comparison, the fastest commercial jet, Concorde would take 2 hours and 52 minutes to fly the same distance and the Boeing 747 averages 6 hours and 15 minutes.
