I’m back from a short trip to Mallorca with many new impressions.
This is one of it and it is also one of my very rare digital composings.
The location is called Cap de Formentor and is a very special place in the north-east of Mallorca.

Located in the Fafe mountains of northern Portugal, A Casa do Penedo, or “the House of Stone,” was built between four large boulders found on the site.

To make this startrail I used:
23 Raws
180s exposure (each)
f/3.5
ISO 800

One hour shooting.

I have been numerous times to this exact location in hope for a display just above these old houses. Finally it happened …and I didn’t mind that I stepped in some serious reindeer-poop just minutes before, and stanked up the car on my way home lol ! I was Aurora-high !
