I do think this image can be classified as an exceedingly typical Ole Henrik work. A sunset – reflections – a tree or two – lots of colors etc etc. However, I can not be held responsible for the colors. It was crazy this late June evening. I am actually worried I have not been able to do the colors justice. The image looked nice last evening in a dark room – it might perhaps come across a bit too dark in a light room. Not sure.

Anyway, the image is thoroughly approved by the entire Skjelstad household + our two German guests, Esmeralda and Daniel all from whom I expect a vote or two 😉

Best seen on black. Hiked up in Giklingdalen in the region Trollheimen (home of the trolls) for a couple of days this weekend. Got some good light on the magnificent Skarfjell mountain at sunrise the last day I had up there.

I originally intended to have more vegitation and a small tree in the compo, but the wind was howling and made it very difficult to get sharp. So I had to compromise with this compo.

But here is what i just love to do, take pictures during a delicious sunset with some wateraction and just beeing insync with the elements 🙂

Sunset light hits the impressive 1500 metres tall peaks in “Litjdalen” (translated into english “Little Valley”) in Sunndal. Had to take multiple exposures the get enough DOF as the flowers are very close to the lens.
