The Palace of Mysore (also known as the Amba Vilas Palace) is a historical palace situated in the city of Mysore in Karnataka, southern India. It is the official residence and seat of the Wodeyars – the Maharajas of Mysore, the former royal family of Mysore, which ruled the princely state of Mysore from 1399 to 1950.
I am visiting my home country after a gap of 2 years, and I selected Mysore as my first photo location .

A continuing influx of Chinese immigrants, mostly from Yunnan, in the past twenty years, has reshaped the city’s ethnic makeup and increased commerce with China.[7][8] Despite Naypyidaw’s recent rise, Mandalay remains Upper Burma’s main commercial, educational and health center.

Palace of Knossos in greece.
They had doors and higher technologie than the roman empire altough its far before this time! Knossos is also the one of the first house/city-komplexes.
It was covered in sand and time until it was discovered by archeologists some years ago.

During my trip to China, I went to these remote islets about 40 miles off the coast of mainland China, called “The East Pole Islets”. These little islands have no sign of industrialization like the rest of China, and they’ve been perfectly perserved, much like the National Parks in our country. This shot was taken at on the 1 hour long ferry from the surrounding island, just as the boat pulled up to the dock. Interesting building structures by the water. The harbor nearly had no boat docking there. All in all, best place I’ve ever been to thus far, even better than most of the American landscapes !
