New on 500px : Road to Nowhere by BruceHood by BruceHood

I spent my recent 39th birthday weekend down in the Victorian Alps.

Unfortunately we did not get the conditions we were after however we did have a reprise to save the weekend when we stopped at the Sugar Pine Forest which was covered in a wonderful envelope of fog.

The Twisted Life; Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. This ancient tree has seen somewhere around 3,000,000 sunrises and sunsets during its life of about 4,000 years. I’ve been lucky enough to witness about eight (with no zero’s) but I’d like to think this was one of the better ones. Enjoy!

I was very lucky during this trip because the weather conditions in Eastern Sierra were phenomenal. I got beautiful lights during sunsets and clear sky during nights, having this oppturnity to enjoy such beautiful sights I just cannot help wanting go there again.
