After several days of unsuccessful storm chase with a friend, we finally witness this great sunset with a very intense golden light.
The sky here is made of decaying anvils coming from storms further at south.

The first sunset since it’s really spring here. It was raining a little at this moment, creating a sort of orange haze everywhere with that sunset light. You can see some rainshafts under the clouds’ base at the top of the image, they looked very nice with that light. A great sunset from a nice spot quite hidden, which somehow fit well with this warm haze since this place looks much “arid” for the region, with lots of pines and huge rocks. Ris, Puy de Dôme, France.
