Silver Falls State Park, Oregon

We loved our two days around Silverton in October 2013 – A fantastic small town vibe and amazing scenery all around the town. Charlotte managed to get to most of the ten waterfalls in the state park but I didn’t dare take her to Abiqua falls – that’s for a future adventure!

South falls Silver Falls state park Oregon Visiting the trail of ten waterfalls was one that Marianne and I will remember well. We had just come to our senses after battling out family influenza A while on the road for the previous week. With Charlotte on my back, we managed to see most of the waterfalls in the area (7 of them) including the beautiful South Falls before park closing time. I re-edited this one as the previous version I felt was unrealistically bright in the foreground relative to the surrounds.
