After 4 days hiking along the Inca Trail, we passed through the Sun Gate and finally reached our amazing destination. Spending the afternoon among the ruins, we finished the day soaking in the last rays of sunshine over the majestic ruins of Machu Picchu. The perfect ending to a memorable journey.
A group of houses along the edge of the water in the Lake District area of Argentina. It was autumn when I took this image and the group of trees around the houses were a completely different colour to the ones behind.
I came across a group performing capoeira on the sand in Rio De Janeiro and was able to photograph them from some distance away. This photograph was not posed at all, just one (of the many I took) where everything fell into place.
This is a closer up shot of Huayna/Wayna Picchu up a little closer and personal. Of course this is the mountain that the Incas built their “Lost City”. The peak is about 1100 feet higher than the city itself.
