This is how Toledo shone the night of June 21, 2014, summer solstice day, at 23:00 h
The sunset came at 21:47, but at 23:00 it was still possible to see the last sunbursts, which appear on the right side of the photo.
It was a clear moonless night on a Saturday, and that’s the reason why Toledo public lighting system was fully on, as is customary on weekends.
As a curiosity, the official time in Spain is UTC +2 in summer, although geographically would correspond UTC +1, that’s to say, the same time zone as London, as the Greenwich Meridian passes through Spain.
This photo is part of the “One minute on earth” project, in which photographers from around the world timed their watches to take a picture of ther cities simultaneously.

Así lucía Toledo la noche del 21 de junio de 2014, día del solsticio de verano, a las 23:00 h.
La puesta de sol se produjo a las 21:47, pero a las 23:00 h aún se podían ver los últimos resplandores solares, que aparecen en la parte derecha de la foto.
Una noche sin luna y despejada de un sábado, razón por la cual Toledo estaba totalmente iluminado, como es costumbre los fines de semana.
Como curiosidad, la hora oficial en España es UTC+2 en verano, aunque geográficamente le correspondería UTC+1, es decir el mismo huso horario de Londres ya que el meridiano de Greenwich pasa por España.
Esta foto forma parte del proyecto “One minute on earth”, en el que fotógrafos de todo el mundo cronometraron sus relojes para tomar una fotografía de su ciudad simultáneamente.
