This is a shot from Pier 14 in San Francisco. There are so many piers in San Francisco that offer great views of downtown, and of the Bay Bridge, and this is one of them. The only problem is this one closes down , and at a some what early time so its tough sometimes to get photos without anyone in them.
My good friends Jeremy, Beth and I decided to take our first trip to this beautiful waterfall gem yesterday. Our trek included a few slips, slides and falls but we still managed to make it all in one piece and we had a great time. The wind was a bit problematic but we were able to get some decent pics regardless…guess I better learn how to focus stack landscapes in order to try and up my game! My first time out for Rowena Crest overlooking the mighty Columbia River in Oregon. At 4:00 AM I had the extreme good fortune of seeing my new photog friend Bronwyn pull into the parking lot. My humble thanks go to her for sharing her secret locations and techniques for capturing this amazing scene!
