“Adrift”

A self-portrait taken last night at Moraine Lake. What a night for a first visit to the lake this year: stars by the millions, the Ten Peaks towering all around and the sound of ice lazily moving about on the surface of the water.

I was hoping for a simpler composition but some of those ice floes just wouldn’t budge!
